SceneQuest uses a small game profile to remember your progress. It does not ask for an email address or real-world identity.
How official scores work
- Your first completed attempt at each book becomes your official score.
- Leaving before finishing does not create an official result.
- You may replay completed books for fun, but replay scores never replace the official score.
- Your leaderboard total is the sum of your official scores from all completed books.
What SceneQuest keeps
Your profile name, a protected version of your six-digit PIN, genre flair, completed books, official scores, reader comments and reactions, reports you submit, and a login session that remembers you.
What other players can see
Your profile name, active genre flair, completed-book count, and total score may appear on the public leaderboard. After a player finishes a book, its reader discussion also shows profile names, results, comments, and reaction counts. Do not share your real name, contact information, or other personal details.
Reader discussion
Keep comments friendly and focused on the book. Links are not allowed. Players may report a comment, and SceneQuest may remove comments or profiles that do not belong in the community.
What SceneQuest does not request
No email address, real name, mailing address, age, gender, phone number, or payment information is requested for a player profile.
Age and profiles
Saved player profiles are for people age 13 and older. Players under 13 may still enjoy the book mysteries without creating a profile or saving scores. SceneQuest asks only for confirmation and does not store an age or birth date.
